Name, spelling, and lookalikes
Checked 14 October 2026. A spelling correction page. The official English title has three words of article and one star, singular.
What I checked
I compared autocomplete collisions from the keyword research with the official homepage title. The Chinese official name is 沉星之序. I am not defining the English title's hidden meaning.

The title as printed
Official English: Order of the Sinking Star. Official Chinese on the /zh/ site: 沉星之序. Common drops — of the, the final r, a plural stars — still mean this game if the rest of the phrase matches.
It is not Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, not Star Ocean, not Order of the Stick, and not The Sinking City. Those titles appear when a short seed is searched. The full name is the filter.
What order does not mean
It does not mean a mandatory world sequence. The PlayStation hands-on says the real meaning of the title is something the game keeps back. This page will not invent a glossary of star names.
Questions
Is it Sinking Star or Sinking Stars?
Star, singular, in the official title.
Is it related to The Sinking City?
