Demo: what you can still download
Checked 14 October 2026. The timed Steam demo is no longer publicly listed, but its progress carries into the Steam full game. The expanded demo had over 100 puzzles.
What I checked
Source check, 14 October 2026: the known demo app is 4597250. Its store URL redirects to Steam's homepage and its appdetails response says success:false. Historical scope and carry-over are confirmed in Arc Games' June announcements, not inferred from the missing listing.

Status on 14 October 2026
The full game's API has no demos field, and the known demo app 4597250 returns success:false. Its public store URL redirects to the Steam homepage. This supports 'not currently offered as a public download'; it does not prove that an already installed demo stops working.
The Nintendo US and PlayStation US listings show the paid full game, with no demo edition. No official Switch 2 or PS5 demo was confirmed. The historical trial was on Steam, including Steam Deck and GeForce NOW access described by the publisher.
What the old demo contained
Arc Games opened the Steam Next Fest trial on 15 June 2026. Its 19 June content update distinguishes the original 75 puzzles from an expanded total of over 100, adding the Bard, Druid and some world-collision content. The launch FAQ also describes around 110 levels plus parts of the Overworld; these are approximate scope statements, not a single fixed count for every demo revision.
The 22 June announcement extended the limited trial to 26 June at 10am Pacific. A 10 July technical-beta announcement shows later demo maintenance, so 26 June must not be presented as a verified permanent shutdown date. The PlayStation hands-on describes the Queen, Heroes, The Promise and Mirror Isles; Skipping Stones was unavailable in that demo build.
| Demo revision or claim | Published scope | Source date |
|---|---|---|
| Before the content update | 75 puzzles | 19 June retrospective |
| Expanded demo | Over 100 puzzles | 19 June update |
| Launch FAQ scope | Around 110 levels plus Overworld | 15 June FAQ |
| Completion time | No official hour estimate; no session-hour cap during the trial | 15 June FAQ |
Steam progress carry-over and missing achievements
Yes: the 15 June FAQ and 22 June extension announcement explicitly promise that demo progress transfers to the full release on Steam. They do not promise cross-platform transfer to PS5 or Switch 2, and no manual file-copy procedure is published there.
The developer's 12 October patch awards missing achievements on load for demo players. Keep the existing save and update the Steam game before troubleshooting a missing achievement; do not wipe progress or assume that a new campaign is required. This guide has not tested a save migration itself.
