System requirements and PC notes

Checked 14 October 2026. Windows 10 or later, 8 GB RAM minimum and 14 GB available space. The developer published Proton compatibility fixes on 9 and 12 October.

What I checked

Source check, 14 October 2026: Steam appdetails, the Deck report, Nintendo's product page and the developer's Steam patch notes. No invented game build number or untested launch-option workaround is attached.

Steam PC requirements

Steam's specification is Windows 10 or later, 64-bit, with the latest updates. Its recommended GPU string says 'GTX 2070 Ti'; that unusual model label is reproduced as a store value, not silently changed into another card or independently confirmed as a model.

14 GB is available disk space, not a measured compressed download. Nintendo's US product page gives a 13.8 GB game file size. No PS5 download size was established. Steam Deck is Verified through compatibility testing, despite Steam not listing a native Linux build.

Fullscreen, ultrawide, Proton

The developer's 9 October update lowers the Steam SDK requirement to SteamClient021 or Proton v9 and above. The 12 October second update attempts to fix the E_INVALIDARG crash under Proton on Linux, Deck and Steam Machine. These are developer patch notes, not community launch-command guesses.

If that error occurs, update the game and Steam/Proton first, then record the exact error and runtime version if it persists. The patch's wording is a fix attempt, not proof that every device now works. No special launch command is required by the cited note.

Graphics and unresolved display questions

The developer's 10 July demo technical-beta announcement documents a Very Performance graphics preset and controls for vsync, frame-rate cap and antialiasing in the Graphics submenu. It reports 60 fps on most demo Deck levels, not a guarantee for every full-game area or Switch 2.

The 9 October full-game patch fixes some aspect-ratio issues, but it does not publish a universal ultrawide or borderless-fullscreen procedure. Exact display menu paths, a reproducible Overworld performance test and per-platform frame-rate measurements remain unverified here.

Questions

How big is the download?

Steam asks for 14 GB of space. The Switch 2 page says 13.8 GB.

Does it run on Steam Deck?

Yes. The Deck report is Verified.
